Inspired by the bead-moving toys often seen at doctors’ offices, the tracks of this oversized
sculptural replica tangle together, making play impossible unless the pieces are moved in tandem. This work gives form to the uncertainty one experiences when the “right” action for self, others, and the world feels unclear, or at odds with other needs and desires we may hold.
